Growing since 1974, Currin's Nursery has been providing high quality plants to independent retail garden centers, landscapers, re-wholesalers, and other nurseries.  We grow shrubs and trees from one gallon to 65 gallons.  We propagate around 85% of what we grow so that we can control the quality of our plants from day one.  Although we are famous for our abelias, wax myrtles, junipers, conifers and crape myrtles, we grow a wide variety of trees and shrubs.  Ever heard of Little Richard Abelia?  Well, that's us!

Of course we love growing tried and true plant varieties, but we also love to try new plants.  We are a licensed propagator of the Kaleidoscope Abelia, Radiance Abelia, and Crown Jewel Gardenia.  We also grow several other patented varieties including the First Editions(R) Magic(TM) crape myrtle series, Knockout(R) Roses, Drift(R) Roses, and many others.

We are a family owned and centered business.  Owner Richard Currin started the nursery with the help of his wife, Emily at a small two acre site and they have seen the nursery expand to our current 24 acre location.  Their daughter, Ruth, joined the nursery as the Sales and Marketing Manager in 2006 upon completing her Master of Science degree in Communication.
